Associate Professor Wei Jinshen Participated in the Academic Seminar in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia

On June 25, the academic seminar on "Strategic Competition among Major Countries and Regional Security" was held in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia, which was hosted by the University of International Relations and Inner Mongolia University. The one-day conference was attended by more than 100 experts and scholars from more than 60 universities, research institutions and media, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, Party school of Central Committee of C.P.C, the Chahar Institute and so on.

Associate Professor Wei Jinshen participated in the academic discussion of the third sub venue "Competition among Major Powers and Security in the Middle East" and delivered a speech entitled "Threat Awareness and Security Governance: an Analysis of Iran's Participation in Non-traditional Security Governance in Afghanistan". The third sub venue was presided over by researcher Wang Lincong, deputy director of the Institute of West-Asian and Africa, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and reviewed by researcher Li Weijian from Shanghai Institute of International Studies.
