From June 24 to 25,“20 Years of Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Prospect International Symposium”was held in Shanghai University of Political Science and Law. The conference was supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, hosted by the China Institute of International Studies, the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences Center of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Studies and the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, sponsored by Shanghai University of Political Science and Law and the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Training Base for International Judicial Exchanges and Cooperation. Nearly 200 participants from government agencies, research institutions, Universities, including diplomatic envoys and media of SCO member states attended the opening ceremony and participated in academic discussions.

At the opening ceremony, on June 24, Li Hui, special representative of the Chinese government for Eurasian Affairs, delivered a keynote speech. Professor Jiao Yiqiang and Professor Zeng Xianghong of our school were invited to attend the meeting and delivered speeches over the development and prospects of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
