About the author
Zeng Xianghong, Professor of Institute for Central Asia studies of Lanzhou University, Deputy Dean of School of Politics and International Relations of Lanzhou University. His research directions include regional and country studies, international relations theory, etc. So far, he has presided over two National Social Science Fund projects and one Ministry of Education Project,and published four academic monographs and more than 80 academic papers on “ China Social Sciences” and other professional academic journals.

2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Through the concerted efforts of the Member States, the SCO has made important contributions to the maintenance of peace and stability in the Eurasian region, created a new model of regional cooperation, and realized important theoretical and practical innovations.
