Co-sponsored by the Research Office of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee and the China Institute of Strategic Studies, Tongji University, on 18-19 May 2024, The 6th China Strategic Forum and the high-end Seminar on "The Rise of the Global South and Innovation in China's Diplomacy" jointly organized by the College of National Security of the National Defense University of the People's Liberation Army, the College of Politics and International Relations of Tongji University, the National Modernization Research Institute of Tongji University, and the Office of Liberal Arts of Tongji University were held in Tongji University.

More than 70 experts and scholars from 43 universities, research institutions and think tanks, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Party School of the CPC Central Committee, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, National Defense University, Tongji University, Nanjing University, Wuhan University and Renmin University of China, gathered at the conference. We will hold an in-depth discussion on the theme of "The Rise of the Global South and the innovative development of China's diplomacy".

With the purpose of "high-end, cutting-edge and interdisciplinary", this conference invites experts and scholars from various fields such as political science, international relations, philosophy, economics, history, journalism and communication to conduct interdisciplinary dialogues, exchanges and discussions. Prof. Zeng Xianghong was invited to attend the meeting and delivered a speech entitled "Evolution of Pluralistic and Balanced Foreign Policy of Central Asian Countries".
