On July 11, the opening ceremony of the summer camp was held in 502 University Student Activity Center, Chengguan West District. On the morning of July 12, the college organized campers to visit the Yuzhong Campus Museum. On the same day at 15:30, the School invited Professor Liu Feng from the Department of International Relations of the School of Social Sciences of Tsinghua University to give an academic lecture entitled "Problems, Theories and Methods of International Relations Research" for the campers. Professor Liu Feng explained in detail the elements and standards of research design, the core problems to be solved in the paper, the method to determine the topic selection, and the path to build a theoretical framework. Professor Liu said: Research design is a process of repeated verification of experience, theory and method; The purpose of learning methods and theories is to apply them to one's own research, and to use them to promote learning.
