On 24 May 2021, the Master's degree thesis defense evaluation meeting of the 2022 session of our school was carried out in an orderly manner by combining online and offline. Professor Wang Zongli and Cao Yabin from the School of Marxism of Northwest Normal University were the chairmen of the thesis defense committee, Professor Wang Jinguo, Zeng Xianghong, Jiao Yiqiang, Wang Sihai, and Associate Professor Zhou Changxian, Ma Guolin, Wei Jinshen and Yang Chenbo were the members of the defense committee, and teacher Zhang Weiwei and Ning Yu were the secretaries of the defense.

The defence was divided into two groups at the same time, and a total of 27 master's degree students attended the defence. The teachers of the defence committee listened carefully to the students'thesis reports and then made detailed comments, pointing out the problems in thethesises of the graduates. The students who attended the defence listened carefully to the teachers' comments and gave answers to the questions raised by the teachers.

After the defence, Professor Cao Yabin and Professor Wang Sihai made their concluding remarks respectively. They pointed out that most of the thesises had met the basic requirements of a master's degree thesis, but each thesisneeded further revision and improvement. The teachers of the defense committee urged the students to revise their thesises and improve them according to the teachers' opinions and in a responsible attitude towards themselves, their supervisors and the discipline. After the joint discussion of the defense committee, all the graduates passed the defense.

At the end, the defence committee expressed their heartfelt congratulations to the students who passed the defence, which was followed by a group photo of the students and teachers.
