In order to strengthen cooperation in fields of education, scientific research and academic exchange, and promote the development of bilateral relations between China and Uzbekistan，the School of Politics and International Relations of Lanzhou University and the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies in Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of cooperation on September 18^th, 2019.

Professor Rixsiyeva Gulchehra Shavkatovna, the President of Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies and Professor Yang Taibao, the Chinese Dean of Confucius Institute of Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, Professor Yang Shu, the Director of Central Asian Studies, Professor Wang Jinguo, Professor Zhu Yongbiao, Associated Professor Jiao Yiqiang, Associated Professor Zhou Ming, Doctor Zhang Yuyan, Doctor Wang Shusen, and Doctor Mao Jianping joined the meeting.
