On December 12^th, Hamidullah Farooqi, Chancellor of Kabul University and Advisor Minister to the President of Afghanistan paid a visit to our university. President Yan Chunhua, Vice-President Sha Yongzhong, Executive Director of Research Center for the Belt & Road and Director of Center for Afghanistan Studies, Pro. Zhu Yongbiao together with relevant department heads of LZU met with the guests.

During the meeting, Yan Chunhua and Hamidullah Farooqi jointly signed the cooperation and exchange agreement between Lanzhou University and Kabul University, and witnessed the signing of the cooperation agreement between Research Center for the Belt & Road, Center for Afghanistan Studies of Lanzhou University and the Silk Road Research Center of Afghanistan.
