Abstract：The year of 2021 is the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Central Asian countries. In reflection and research on state building and social transformation in the past 30 years since the independence of Central Asian countries，regional governance and its changes that have gone through in Central Asia can be an academic agenda，which will bring a lot of theoretical values and policy inspirations. Spatial reconstruction，governance practices，interaction rules and symbolic politics are the four aspects that worth special attention in the study of regional governance and the changes in Central Asia. From these four aspects，the outline of governance changes in Central Asia and the types of regional order derived from them can be roughly drawn. However，these four aspects are just related to the framework of regional governance，and in order to depict the details of the regional governance，several key issues need to be analyzed in depth. These topics include the evolution and dynamics of governance model in Central Asia，the characteristics and changes of regional order in Central Asia，the main fields of governance in Central Asia and its influences on formation and maintenance of regional order，and the related strategies of each governance subject and their interactions in the formation of regional order in Central Asia. A detailed study of the four aspects and four topics related to regional governance of Central Asia is expected to have a grasp of the governance situations，change trajectories and development directions of the Central Asia region in the past 30 years.
