Series Research on Central Asia and the Northwest Frontier Region of China was Selected into the 2019 National Social Sciences Fund for the Project of Translating Chinese Academic Works
Recently, Series Research on Central Asia and the Northwest Frontier Region of China which were compiled by Institute for Central Asian Studies and School of Politics and International Relations were selected into the 2019 National Social Sciences Fund for the Project of Translating Chinese Academic Works.
The series were written or edited by senior experts such as Professor Yang Shu, Professor Wang Jinguo and Associate Professor Jiao Yiqiang and so on, and reviewed by experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and School of International Studies of Peking University.
This series have important practical reference value for maintaining the stability of China’s frontier and developing friendly relations with Central Asian Countries. Moreover, the application of various theoretical perspectives and scientific research methods effectively ensures the important academic value of these books. Specifically, the author deeply analyzes the foreign policies of the major powers towards Central Asia, systematically summarizes the political, economic and diplomatic development of Central Asian Countries, and discusses the close relationship between China's Northwest Frontier Region and Central Asia.
