On November 2^nd, the international symposium on Governancein China for the New Era: Progress, Challenges and Strategies was held in the School of Politics and International Studies of Central China Normal University. More than 60 experts and scholars from China, the United States, the Netherlands, Italy, Korea, Laos and other countries attended the meeting. They analyzed and discussed the great achievements, successful experiences and great contributions of national governance extensively and deeply in China for the new era.

Professor Zeng Xianghong of our school was invited to attend the meeting and made a speech entitled Role Theory and Regional Governance.

During the discussion, experts spoke highly of the governance reform in China and agreed that under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China, China's governance system and capacity have been greatly modernized.
