On November 9^th, the Symposium on a series of academic salons on the topic “History of Chinese and Foreign Political Thoughts : Montesquieu and modern political thoughts" was hosted by the school of political science and public administration of East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai. 14 young researchers from Tongji University, Beihang University, Lanzhou University, Southwest University of political science and law, Zhejiang University and other universities attended the conference. These researchers are distributed in various fields of political science, law and philosophy, which largely reflects the new achievements of Montesquieu research in China in recent years. Dr. Luo Yixuan was invited to attend the meeting and made a speech entitled "Montesquieu on British Political System".
