Abstract:The Community of Shared Future for Mankind is the promotion of the concept of community for the Chinese nation, that embodies the practical orientation of universal benefit value and common value of the world, and is a highly focused and in-depth integration of the symbiosis of human destiny. The Community of Shared Future for Mankind initiative contributes Chinese wisdom to the changing needs of global governance modernization. The concept of the Community of Shared Future for Mankind has broken the “Kindleberger’s trap”, “Thucydidēs’s trap” and other presuppositions of western discourse, dispelling the “western-centric theory” and transcending the “alternative theory” and “conflict theory of civilization” in the west. The common values of the signs of the Community Shared Future for Mankind have shattered the myth of “universal values” of western-led pan-religious logic. The Community of Shared Future for Mankind unites the domestic and foreign interests, the Chinese dream and the world dream, and the governance of China and the world. The Community of Shared Future for Mankind embodies the national sentiment of “sharing a common destiny” and “taking the world as our responsibility” in the fine traditional Chinese culture, and demonstrates the theoretical confidence and governance advantages of the socialist thought on major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics in the new era. It has contributed China’s wisdom and strength to the governance of the world, the building of a harmonious world, and the development of mankind through consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits.
