Three teachers, Ms Zhou Ming, Ms Sun Xiowen and Mr Cao Wei, gave lectures on diplomatic protocols, the art and techniques of negotiation, and current affairs analysis and summaries to develop students' awareness of the professional competition. This will not only help students to understand the contents related to the work of diplomats and broaden their international perspective, but also help to enhance their sensitivity and analytical ability in current affairs, laying a solid foundation for them to participate in relevant competitions.

The two courses were taught in English, with Mr Chen Yiyi and Mr Mao Jianping as teaching assistants for the two courses.

In the Introduction to International Political Economy course, Mr Gerald Schneider explained in detail the construction and development of international political economy, using data to show the international political and economic situation and explain the interaction between international politics and economy, reflecting the changes in international political economy. In Contemporary Marxism and the Chineseisation of Marxism, Mr Mahoney takes students through a different perspective on contemporary Marxism and the Chineseisation of Marxism, with a focus on Chinese dialectical thinking in the context of the traditional Chinese doctrine of Yin and Yang. The module is of positive significance in developing the cross-fertilisation of disciplines among our students.
