The 2021 Summer School of Politics and International Relations of Lanzhou University was successfully held in Yuzhong campus of Lanzhou University from 12th to 13^thJuly，which focused on enhancing students’ professional learning ability and foreign language ability. Some students of Class 2018 and all students of Class 2019 and Class2020 participated in this summer school.

From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. on July 12, the foreign language learning skills exchange meeting between teachers and students was held. Mr. Chen Yiyi, Mr. Sang Pu and Ms. Wang Tingting of our school shared their experiences on English learning.The exchange meeting was shared from four aspects: listening, speaking, reading and writing.Ms. Wang Tingting shared with the students the methods of doing self-introduction in English. She said that when we introduce ourselves in English, we can constantly expand around a key point, and emphasize the importance of fluent and clear oral expression.Then teachers and students had a heated discussion on how to improve their oral and listening abilities.

The next days, experts and scholars from well-known domestic universities and scientific research institutes held lectures for our students. Professors also shared their study experience with the students, guiding students to think deeply about their aspirations.
