On the afternoon of May 17, 2021, the 21st basketball competition of the faculty of Lanzhou University was held in Chengguan campus. For the first time, our school set up the staff man basketball team and took part in this game.

The first race started between our school and the School of Mathematics and Statistics. Players actively participated in the game. With the sound of the whistle, the players of both sides began to enter the game. Shortly after the start, our player Jia Haiyan scored a 3-point goal, which instantly lit up the pleasant atmosphere. After that, our players cooperated with each other and kept leading. On the field, the players work hard; Outside the venue, the cheerleading team composed of teachers and graduate students cheered with loud shouts, which fully demonstrated the spirit of sincere unity of teachers and students. Finally, our basketball team won the game.

This is the first time for teachers to participate in basketball match since the establishment of our school, which helps to rich the cultural life of our staff, strengthen their physique, and improve the centripetal force and cohesion of our school. In the future, the school will continue to organize teachers to participate in various cultural and sports activities and promote the cultural construction to a new level.
