The Interview Content

Q1: On the issue of The US air raid on Syria, because this is Biden's first military action since he came to power, why did he choose this time to air raid on Syria?

A1: I don't think it's a sudden thing, because the US military action in Syria has never stopped. Now this military action is normal. I don't think it has any special significance.

Q2:What's your prediction about the future situation in Syria?

A2:Because the basic balance of power there has not changed, there is no fundamental reconciliation between the various factions in Syria. This will take some time. The point is that this country is not playing like a country. Although a large-scale war like the one at the beginning of the Syrian war can hardly be fought, because those forces are no longer there,no one has wiped out their opponents, and Russia and the United States support different factions. There is also a special factor: the involvement of Turkey and Iran. Therefore, the factors are very complicated and it is impossible to solve them immediately.

Q3:What impact will the current situation in Syria, including the whole situation in the Middle East, have on the global anti-terrorism situation?

A3:I don't think it has much influence on the global anti-terrorism.After the Islamic state's armed forces were basically eliminated, its personnel began to disperse. Its scope and depth of influence are much reduced. Although we have to guard against it, don't overestimate its power.
