On the afternoon of October 27, 2020, Zhao Chen, chief of European International Relations Department at Institute of European Studies under Chinese Academy of Social Sciences andhis four colleagues visited our school.Professor Zeng Xianghong, Professor Chen Xiaoding, Professor Li Jie, Associate Professor Wei Jinshen and Associate Professor Li Yibin participated in the meeting. Professor Tian Ye of the School of History and Culture also attend this activity.

At the beginning, Professor Zeng Xianghong, on behalf of the School of Politics and International Relations and the Institute for Central Asian Studies of Lanzhou University, welcomed Zhao Chen and his colleagues, and briefly introduced the basic situation of our school and the Institute for Central Asian Studies. And then, participants introduced their research direction respectively and launched a series of academic discussions.

Professor Zhao Chen introduced the research direction and focus of the European International Relations Department at current stage. The two sides made in-depth talk on relevant issues and discussed the relevant issues of future cooperation.
