The First Communication and Borderland Governance Forum sponsored by Jinan University was held in Guangzhou from September 12th to 13th, 2020. The theme of this forum was Borderland Research from Interdisciplinary Perspective: New Thinking and New Approaches. In this meeting, Institute for Communication and Borderland Governance of Ji Nan University was officially inaugurated.

Experts, scholars and doctoral candidates from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Jinan University, Lanzhou University, Northwest University of Political Science and Law, Shaanxi Normal University and Xinjiang University were invited to attend the forum. The forum conducted in-depth academic discussion on the topics of borderland studies and international relations and social governance, etc. Dr. Cao Wei of our school was invited to attend the meeting and made a speech.
