The Research Group dedicated on Strengthening Cultural Exchanges between Yunnan and its Neighboring Countries visited our School

On September 14th, 2020,the research group dedicated on strengthening cultural exchanges between Yunnan and its neighboring countries went to Lanzhou for investigation. Zou Ying,Director of Communication and Promotion Department of the Party Committee of Yunnan province, Liu Yu,Director of Publishing Department of Publicity Department of the Party Committee ofYunnan province, Xu Yue, General Manager of Yunnan Newspaper Culture Investmentand Development Co., Ltd., and Lin Yanming, Guo Suiyan, Cheng Min, Sun Xiqin and other scholars from Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences visited our school. Wang Jinguo,Dean of the School, Zeng Xianghong, Associate Dean, Chen Xiaoding, ChenYiyi, Li Yibin and other teachers attended the meeting, and Mao Shichang,Director of Indian Research Center, presided over the meeting.

Dean Wang Jinguo extended a warm welcome to Zou Ying and her company and expressed his sincere hope to carry out exchanges and cooperation with units at all levels in Yunnan.Dean Wang made a brief introduction to the School of Politics and International Relations and its foreign cooperation and exchange. He pointed out that although the School was established for a short time, it has been actively expanding cooperation with domestic and foreign universities and scientific research institutes, and attaches great importance to the exchange and cooperation with domestic and International.

Director Zou Ying introduced the basic situation of foreign exchanges in Yunnan Province, and expressed the hope that through strategic cooperation with Lanzhou University and integration of resources, it would achieve mutual benefit and hopefully a win-win pattern, benign development and diversified development.

Both sides also conducted in-depth discussions on exchanges and cooperation and the development of the college, and both sides expressed their desire to carry out deeper cooperation and exchange.
