On Dec 13^th, 2019,Wang Yi, State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs delivered a keynote speech atthe Opening of Symposium on the International Situation and China’s Foreign Relations in 2019,which was co-sponsored by China Institute of International Studies and China Foundation for International Studies. Professor Yang Shu and Professor Wang Jinguo were invited to attend the Symposium.

Focusing on the theme ofthe international situation and China's diplomacy under the great changes in the past century, the experts had in-depth discussions on great power diplomacy, international order, global governance, China-USA relations and other current international hot topics, and analyzed new trend under current international situation.

Well-known experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, China Foreign Affairs University,University of International Relations, Beijing Foreign Studies University, China Institute of International Studies, Lanzhou University and noted domestic universities and academic research institutions attended the Symposium.
