“Youth Dialogue along the Belt and Road 2019 Summer School Lanzhou University- Gedik University” was held on July 28th，2019.

Toward the dawn of Bosporus Strait, the delegation started with a seven days summer exchange activity.

Dr. Zafer Utlu, the President of the Istanbul-Gedik University, said that only by deepening cultural exchanges can China and Turkey get to know each other better and establish a firm, lasting and friendly relationship at the welcoming ceremony in the morning of July 29th. The Vice President of the Istanbul-Gedik University, Dr. Saduman Okumus, and the Dean of International Relations Department, Dr. Suha Atature, also delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Both of them mentioned that promoting youth dialogue was a work of great wisdom and foresight under the background of globalization and One Belt and One Road Initiative, and this summer school would certainly strengthen the cooperation between academic circles for both sides, and would provide solid support for comprehensive development of China-Turkey Relations.

After the ceremony, students from both sides introduced the development of politics, economy, culture and diplomacy in detail respectively.
